Trails

Walk on a trail all by my own
To appreciate life in a deeper style
Butterfly flutter tangled me to her
On how she phased from phases of her life…

Walk on a trail all by my own
To appreciate life in a deeper style
Hound slow to rise with less endurance
Shaky bark told me his aging life…

Walk on a trail all by my own
To appreciate life in a deeper style
Cows in meadows
Mooed me her passing life

Walk on a trail all by my own
To appreciate life in a deeper style
Turtle walking slower than his pace
Murmured his tale without a break

Walk on a trail all by my own
To appreciate life in a deeper style
Old age creasing bended me in & out
With wide eyes open to read it all
Been a part of their primes, makes me more hollow to the time
Plead to give all a peaceful life…
